  Superb. Laid back in the best Caribbean tradition. Relaxed place for a wonderful chilled afternoon. If you're coming for the salt lecture, phone ahead! Or just show up & ask Donovan to show you around. Then have a Roti. Then a rum punch. Or two... No negatives here. Take a taxi (25EC) from Port Elizabeth as the road is walkable, but very up & down.

  We stayed here for a week during the summer. We loved every minute of our visit. The rooms were beautiful, The food was so good and the staff were so nice and helpful. Bequia is such a beautiful place. Staying at the Firefly only made the experience that much more special.

  Heavenly food, special rooms and wonderful scenery. The Firefly Bequia is a most welcoming sanctuary on this pristine island - probably the most Caribbean in the Caribbean. The owners have built a bolt hole that caters for the most discerning of travellers. It's where we have found the serenity and the stimulation that we seek when we travel. I can't fail to praise this hotel.
